VBS a Summer of Change

I remember VBS as a kid. It was summer time and I was asking mom for things to do. She always responded with chores. I looked forward to all the Vacation Bible Schools in town. They had games, stories, and fun crafts.

We had a nearby library that showed movies and taught us about fossils. I walked there or rode my bike. The theater showed movies through the summer for free and the churches put on Vacation Bible Schools. I also attended summer camp. These were the staples of my activities in the summer.

Vacation Bible School gives children the chance to learn about God in fun ways while creating friendships. It was a memorable time for me growing up. I look forward to passing on the fun to our children this summer.

Our VBS is called Yeehaw! Welcome to the ranch, let's have some fun! June 28 - June 30 will be packed full of crafts, songs, games, and learning.

We also need volunteers to make our VBS special. Please go to our website (fccclovis.com), the screen will pop up on our home page to volunteer or register. Follow the link to make the difference in our children's lives this summer!

I look forward to seeing you and your children!!

In His service and yours,
